New surgical technique

New surgical technique

We often talk about surgical innovation in terms of technology, data, and engineering.

But sometimes innovation begins with a… sketch! ✏️

At Syntropiq, we are proud to support the development of a new surgical technique led by Prof. Michael Rauschmann from SANA Hospital, who is currently preparing the substantive framework and clinical concept behind this approach.

What makes this initiative truly unique is the way knowledge is being translated into education.

The visual materials illustrating the technique are being created through hand-drawn surgical artwork prepared by an experienced scrub nurse whose practical, operating-room perspective brings each step to life with remarkable clarity. Safaa Akachour is an author of all illustrations. Enjoy some samples 🔝

Because surgical technique is not only science, it is also precision, intuition, and art.

By combining clinical expertise with manual illustration, this project embraces a non-conventional and highly human approach to surgical education – one that supports understanding, training, and knowledge transfer in a deeply engaging way.

➡️ At Syntropiq, we believe in supporting talent in all its forms, whether technological, clinical, or artistic – especially when it serves a greater purpose: advancing education and improving patient care.
